JOHN C. GILMORE, JR. has worked as an attorney in the Pima County Juvenile Court, as well as in other counties in Arizona, since 1990 handling delinquency, dependency, severance, mental health and adoption cases. Mr. Gilmore has represented thousands of parents, grandparents, other relatives, foster parents and others in cases involving the Department of Child Safety (formerly Child Protective Services) as well as termination of parental rights. Mr. Gilmore has also represented the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Tohono O’odham and Navajo Nations in Pima County Juvenile Court Dependency actions.
Mr. Gilmore was a founding member of the Pima County Model Court Project and a current member of the statewide Court Improvement Committee. Mr. Gilmore has served as Juvenile Law faculty for the Juvenile Law Section of the State Bar, the Court Improvement Project, Pima County Juvenile Court and the Arizona Supreme Court’s Administration of the Courts.
