DEPARTMENT OF CHILD SAFETY (DCS) CASES (Formerly Child Protective Service)
When DCS removes children from a home, it can start a court action called a dependency and could lead to the termination of parental rights (severance). I have represented parents, grandparents, foster parents, children and other relatives in Dependency and Severance case. For years I have taught other attorneys how to represent parties in these actions. I have developed 25 years of relationships with the participants in these cases and have a track history of being successful for my clients.
I have also represented many clients who have petitioned the Court for custody of children, or terminating the parental rights of a parent, without DCS involvement
JUVENILE DELINQUENCY
Juvenile delinquency cases involve the arrest of children under the age of 18. I have represented hundreds of children in these cases helping them and their parents navigate the delinquency system and minimizing any damage to the child’s future as a result of an arrest.
GRANDPARENTS’ RIGHTS
Grandparents in Arizona have rights, in some circumstances, to be awarded custody of their grandchildren or to be awarded court-mandated visitation with their grandchildren. I have successfully protected the rights of my clients and helped them protect their grandchildren from potential abuse and neglect.
